I have never used the AQ, but I will tell you that we sell alot of PR's. They are a great budget woofer and get pretty loud for their price.

i would go with the SD2.5 if i were you. its only a couple bucks more, handles more power and has a CF cone lol

i would say the Aq's are tougher for steet beating,, but the pr's have never did me wrong

i liked the 15" pr's I had until I killed them, but they took a beating

Personally with all the good things I hear about AQ i'd try the AQ subs

yea i think that AQ and memphis are neck and neck....but im leaning towards AQ a bit.

yea... i've had both... dont really have a preference between the sd or pr's. when it comes to top line subs, i prefer AQ over memphis... but like stated before, you'd be better off with the sd 2.5's, if you go with aq

I personally wouldn't touch a new AQ unless it's an amp. I bought a new hdc3 12 and the spider failed on 1200 clean

Had a pair of Pr's back in 08. Then switched to my hdc3 because they were stolen. I loved my pr's. They were loud and nice. They even flexed more than my 15 now. but they were also tuned to like 32. Idk about the new aq people are saying but if you have like 500 watts to push subs, go with memphis. If you have anymore, go with sdc2.5.

ive been running my pr's for years on my st 1000ds and havent had an issue,, but i dont drive around at 140+Db. getting old i guess

^They can take some serious power. But just don't need that much to get them loud.

i would never down pr's.... they definately can take a beating. had mine in my truck for 5 years, and now they reside in the wifey's car... and they still sound good!
