AQ HDC4-15 or DC XL-15

I cant say anything about the xl's, but Im loving my aq hdc4's. Thet are amazing subs.

As far as my knowledge goes, I believe that the Level 5 is more expensive than the XL, right? If so, is it worth the extra dough?

yes it is the weight of the motor is 75 lbs .some guys say no, the xl's are just fine

I highly doubt a 16yo needs a level 5..

1 xl 15 with 2kw properly installed will do 145 daily with ease..

The aq woofers are ****** as well..

how much power, how much room will you have?

I run HDC4's so you know my choice, but xl's are good subs also. I've built several enclosures for them...

I can vouch for the 145. My xl did 141.9 @ 2 on my aq. Imagine@.5

I think I am going to buy a aq 2200d, and I only have room for one 15 considering I have a 4 door sedan that I want to keep all the seats for. But, my trunk is actually quite big. It can fit a 4 cubic foot box easily in the smallest section of it.
