Oh yeah man. i ordered mine on a Friday or something I can't remember, but I didn't get the tracking info until like thursday. It's all good though man, they'll get it to you. I should be putting my 15" in tomorrow

the owner recommends 8-10 hours played a little less than half volume or lower. if you dont do this u wilkl get some kiind of mechanical noise.

just do an easy 10-20 hours then let em rip. Im really surprised you're having shipping issues Dj is pretty good, or at least i didnt have any problems. Anyway you will get your sub do not worry.
We dont send out tracking numbers until your sub or amp is actually picked up by UPS.
Joshua your two HDC315-D2's will ship today. For the last month we have been swamped with orders on the 15" and 10" HDC series. We do the final assembly and QC checks in house and we normally are able to ship within 1-2 business days on everything except the aluminum coil versions which are hand built as ordered and take 3-7 business days.
We received your order on the morning of the 12th (Thur), today is the 18th. That's 5 business days to build and ship which is too long; I am truly sorry for the delay. We are in the process of expanding the production staff but that is no excuse.

like stated let it play for around 20 hours without beating on them too hard. after 20ish hours my suspension worked itself in a great deal and the sub actually had excursion. wheni first hooked my 15 up it was so stiff it wouldnt move really, just made noise.

Wonder why you got so many orders for 10's. It's not like they can be louder than 15's:laugh:
OP do you have a tone cd? If so put a 35hz tone on repeat and turn it up so that they are moving about .5-1inch NO MORE THAN THAT for about 30 min or so then play 5-6 hrs. of moderate volume levels. Once broken in don't be afraid of them. Breaking a speaker in should be a sticky. Id be surprised if a day went by that this question wasnt asked here at least once.
New speakers have stiff suspension. It takes some use to get the soft parts too work into their nominal compliance. Some manufacturers have stated it will take hours, others say 95% of your sub's break-in will occur in the first few seconds of use. Either way, who really cares? The sub is, in fact, harder to blow mechanically when its new than it is once the suspension breaks in. The only difference you will find with a non-broken in sub will be the cone moves slightly less. So obviously the notion that you must play the sub at partial volume for some given amount of time is pure nonsense.
A 'break-in period' is only required if you plan on doing a review of the driver, as its performance will change slightly. Otherwise, just play the thing like you normally would. Worst case scenario is you might might might have to re-adjust your gains down a bit once the suspension loosens... but that probably wont even be necessary for most people.
