to tell you the truth, i dont even know what unloading means:crap:

unloading just means you are below tuning, and you get exagerated excursion...which CAN lead to damage.

throw a 20hz tone on it to get an example of unloading. or try playing "bass I love you".

So Im taking your enjoying it... And yes that is extensive in the excursion on it @ 1700 watts... They are capable of that type of true excursion without damage...
Ill make sure i get more video of the 4 i have on the Sundowns when i finally get the build done... They do the trick nicely for what i'm looking to do with them...

I was infact surprised to see a lil flex due in-part to you being tuned to 38 and playin a 34 to 30 cycle song "screwed".... Pretty much Unloaded the freaking thing... lol... Not really a good thing to do but hey DJ kinda knew the first thing everyone was going to do was try to destroy them....

Get you one more and call it a day...

scottie johnson says they will do 4400-4800 @ 14.4v.

i got 3kw on 1 15.

yea i just bought the amp off of him,, the IA40.1,, im lookin for sum subs,,just trying to figure out if i should go with one 18" or two 12's or two 15's im looking for more output and low end bass than i am SQ i only got about 250 to 300 for each speaker or bout 600 for one i thought the hdc3's were good for that price and could give it the bass i want,, hes also sellin 12" re mt's for 299 each but i dont think they would have the bass like a 15" or 18" sub would ,,, any body have any suggestions? im kinda new to this
