i'm at a 145.4 with my hdc318 in a 5 cubic foot box tuned to 41 hz in a crx. Amp is a Powr Acoustik A3000db. electrical is beyond up to par. 15.3 idle drops to 14.9 during my bass boxing song (go to sleep -eminem) on 2 group 34 batteries and a 200 amp alt.

people tell me to have the sub facing up and the port facing back

or should i do it a deferent way

should i do one 8' round port or two 8' ports

What are the box specs? did you use 1 8 foot port or 2?

i've used an hdc318 in 5.9 cubes at 37hz, off of about 1700wrms....got pretty loud in crew cab f150, if i had to guess it was in the 145-147db range
