The alum coil hdcs are hand built here, so If he gets that, then yea.. They will definately hold up better.

**** well if thats the case that might give me more incentive to convert from HD3s to HDCs since aluminum recones are still made in the US

Called DJ today and ordered my Aluminum recones. Should be here within 2 weeks or so.

I'll start another thread and continue my comparison. For now after I fixed the HD3 dust cap I put them back in at .5 and hey you got to love old faithful!
