whats going on guys i just got a check and cant decide on which amp to buy either a sundown 3000 or aq 3500.can yall help me out thanks

I voted on the 3000D because hands down Jacob is the man and no one can beat his customer service. You can't go wrong with running anything Sundown.

Sundown.

Strong, very underrated, very much stable at .5 and will give gobs of power. Both amplifiers are great, and both companies have good CS, it's a tossup but to me it goes to the Sundown.

Note I do not have experience with the AQ's unfortunately. Heard good things, heard bad things. Have not heard a bad peep out of the Sundown.

As stated though, even though I say Sundown it's a tossup. Both will get you where you want.

I dug my aq2200 and AQ has some awesome customer service. Still a tough decision but dollar for dollar I'd go for a refurb sundown if it was my money....db-r has one of the new heatsink ones for 720 shipped with a 1 year warranty.

I'm not really sure what you get for 500 dollars more and 500 watts less, but I'm sure others here can. I picked AQ because I have a 2200D that the build quality and customer service is great.

Bigger heatsink, more surface area for cooling...I think I read it was done for the full range amps and it was just carried over to the class d's to match them.

in a nutshell, more surface area to allow for better heat dissipation

because a "3500" watt amp that does im guessing ~3500 watts markets better than a saz-3000d which does 4000+ watts? lol

I voted for sundown b/c with my strapped pair i saw over 10kw@ 1ohm.
