Anyway to add an AUX (3.5mm headphone jack) to stock HU?

A 96 buick lesabre has a perfectly square head unit, meaning an aftermarket unit will not fit. Is there any roody-poo method out there to wire in an aux input to the HU? Or am I screwed.... I don't want to burn CD's.. it isn't the 90's :|

okay! Give me some feedback, here is my plan.

Getting two of these.

RCA Coupler.

One for white and one for red, I can take HU input from a LOC, and then use a 3.5mm to RCA adapter so I can have a AUX plug in my glove box! then the coupled end will go to the amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif or am I completely wrong and going to explode my things

Does your factory HU have CD changer controls? If so, there's your AUX input. You'll have to piece together some sort of specific converter to a generic RCA end but it isn't anything too difficult. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you can pick something like that up on eBay and have a plug-n-play ready AUX input for whatever device you plan on using.

get a cd and solder two wires to it and solder and headphone jack from radioshack on the other end

No CD changer controls, just a tape deck and a single disk CD player.. I think the RCA option will work but it would be nice to have a real adapter.. I looked on ebay but apparently Buick doesn't exist any more
