Wow. We have been about -9hours for the past few weeks. We have 3FT and 1PT installer at the moment... but one of the FT guys just accepted the assistant S&I position. Supposedly they might hire another PT installer, but that might now take place until I go back to school //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
We had a HORRIBLE month last month, shop ended up @96%... my pph was horrible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. Sucks too, b/c April we were ~130%...

Yeah last month we did shitty, shop came in at 83%, I finished at 115%.

Wow you guys have no employees compared to the store I work at. At one point we had 5 full time installers (one being me), plus the assistant who was basically a full time installer to, and 2 part time installers. Also 3 full time sales people, and like 4 part time.

We have one full time sales and two part time. The full time sales is a dink, who knows a little bit but doesn't care... one part time is from tv's and knows NOTHING about car audio, third used to be an installer has worked for cc for five years and cares about nothing... he says "i get paid if i don't sell, and i get paid if i sell."

As of right now there is two installers so I'm pulling 40hours a week... 3week days 11-8 and saturday sunday 11-9. Assistant manager left about a month ago... two days later we get a call from a customer whos jag just went up in flames because the assistant manager hadn't fused his power wire for a cd changer.

One of our full time installers was fired for ****** harassment(was complete bull shit... he knew his shit too.).

Now to the other installer. Has ZERO trouble shooting skills. I have to do every alarm because he has too much "trouble" with them.

My manager... hmm hes cool and all but knows nothing about car audio. He was a good tv salesman up in tvs, but is not a good manager. He gets in my face for something I tell him to shut the **** up and he does nothing.

I've gotten an offer to goto a actual good shop in saginaw... i might be leaving. If I do they are really ****ed.

How much do you guys make an hour? because i think i'm royally getting ****ed for all the shit I have to do, and am thinking of calling HR. Talk about ****ed up. Last summer I worked at a different location. Hired in at 9.25 an hour for part time sales. I come up here and hire in at ****ing 8.25 an hour for sales. Get switched to installs and I know make 9.00. Such crap.

Oh and for staffing... usually one installer during the week.. two on saturday sunday. One salesman and usually my manager on the floor.

The people at my store have the maturity of a 6year old. They all throw those **** foam cc footballs at each other. I'm sick of it, they hit me with one last week. I took it behind the bay, douched it in spray glue and lit it on fire. The entertainment manager then has the nerve to tell me "that was mature".

PPH and how the department finishes. I don't even want to get into it. All I will say is it relates back to the shitty salesmen... the customers are there, just nothing gets sold.

im hired for sales BUT i do installs have the time now...

and i usally get tips from people after showing what i did too there car.

My thoughts exactly. My old store(store that always hit bonus and does alot of traffic) the assistant manager only made 15 or 16 and he'd been with the company for a few years...

I make more then my assistant now (been there more then a year longer then him), but my old assistant was making $14.50 and he had worked there for 5 years...

Also how do you get install bonus... if you're not in the system as an installer. I think that's impossible. Because every install is logged by IBM number and if your IBM isn't in the system as an installer it doesn't go thru...
