Alright man, sounds great. I have stock everything power wise, and plan on doing the big 3, with a 120amp alternator. If things start to dim, I can just turn the bass down so my car doesn't die correct?

ya do the big 3 and make sure you set the gains correctly. look up in the amp section of how to set gains. and i think you should be good.

my last setup was 2 type r 12's on a zx1500.1 at 2 ohms in the spec built box..those subs wanged pretty **** well.

type r 12's take up to 1000?

Man i would go with the brutus 1608(hifonics), i just put one of these in my friends trail blazer with 4 15' CVR's running at 1 ohm and the only electrical upgrade we did was yellow top and 2 tsunami caps and it seriously boss knocks 4 15's, i had the would be schocked if you got that amp on 2 r 12's and @1ohm and had to turn it more than half way also for the price its great deal. oh and you would need 2 dual ohm speakers and u wire them +wire+ -Wire- on each sub that will put both subs at 2ohm then into amp = 1 ohm

I thought you needed dual 4ohm speakers to make it 1ohm? Thanks for the suggestions guys!
