anyone with a Precision Power BK1800.1D ??

Ive heard it does rated and a little more cleanly, but no personal experience.
yea thats what all the online dealer reviews seem to be like, but you know how online reviews can be " 1 12in sub on 100 watt amp shattered my windshield" lol just cant find anyone on the forums talking about them at all.

Ivd got a BK1300.1D on my icon.... its a solid amp puts out more clean power then my AP1800.1d. ON a DMM it will hit the correct voltage for 1300 watts when setting gains. The black ice line as a whole is a great budget line. I ran a 210.2 on my tweets and a 340.4 on my sls 6.5 midbasses and both of those tossed out nice power.

Things to notE:

pots for crossovers and gain are not linear. set both by DMM and test tone. -3db point is volatage X.707. my 4 channel had different gain settings for each channel pair.

my set up i am working on now:

those three will be in my chevy cobalt with a Rubicon 2500.. Ill be doin a build log on DIYMA. The BK340 and the BK210 where in my truck.. my signature is now updated for my truck. You should definitly pick up the BK1800.1 if need that power, solid amps.

i have the 1300.1 as well on a gcon 10" and love the setup. still tweaking the amp(just have it set by ear....need to put my volt meter on it and set the gains) but overall i am very happy with the amp. i need to upgrade the electrical on my truck as well.

im in the hunt for a 340.4 or the next step up from that amp for my doors.... going the matching amp route as well.

cant beat the price on the ppi's either.

09Civic:

I believe you are right. A true becnh test of this amp has not been accomplished. Anecdotally, my 1300.1, 340.4, and 210.2 all met the voltage requirements @ 14V for rated power per my fluke when setting gains. As well, The 1300.1 has more clean power output than my AP1800.1 ever did. My SSA Icon thanked me when I made the switch.

With that said, I would opine that those voltages are just as accurate as any joe schmo who "clamps" there amps volage based on subjective impedance numbers.
