Anyone wanna help design a SPL box for two alpine Type R's?

So right now ive got a decent box tuned to 34hz and it sounds great but I wanna get a box thats Primarily SPL. My trunk is 19in tall, 30 inches long, and 32 in from front to back. Ive got a cavalier so its not a huge trunk. But i cant fold the seats down since I wanna be able to compete and stuff. Any ideas?
Unbolt the seats and lay them down.

You really need to know how much power they will be gettting before you build the box for sure. If theyre getting 1000 RMS each I would say 3.1ft NET each @ 38hz w/42in port area would be **** near as loud as you can get. I had mine in 3.4 each with 44in port area @ 37hz and they could only take about 900watts but I hit 141.x with two of them on about a 17or1800watt RMS burb. Higher tuning definetley increases the spl dramatically, go with at least 36hz, they still sound great on all rap music except about 10 songs @37hz, (soul survior, some young dro, pimp c a few songs, obie trice-snitch) but they still reporudce the bass it just isnt as loud as it could be with lower tuning. Everything adds up so take all the tips that you read, resin the inside, brace if needed, double face, sand the port smooth, round edges, possibly design it to seal off the trunk into the car and then deaden the rear panel above the seats also.

So higher tuning? Ok cool wasnt sure about that. Wow 3.1 net each. Hmmm thats def possible with the seats down. Thanks alot
3.1 each is too much IMO.

For a nice sounding cavy box that can still throw down, I would do about 2-2.5 cubes net PER SUB. Fire the subs forward into the cabin and fire four 4" aeroports towards the drivers side of the trunk.

Put the aeroports all the way towards the rear of your box.

I just built a box like this for a buddy of mine (2 door cavy) and it did a 143 on the dash with music. This was with 2 crunch groundpounder 12's and a 20.1 running at 1 ohm. With some higher power 12's and more power, it could easily do a mid-high 140 on the dash sealed up.
