nope not yet..... i was hoping a bunch of us can chip in like a few cents to pay for it. ya know spread the cost around the people willing to help. i mean the domain name is like 8-10 bucks, so if like 20 of us chip in 40-50 cents, were golden.
wait how does buying a domain work? ill just buy it since all yall are workin so hard on this stuff. once you buy it is it up automatically? im confused
its 9-10 bucks. one of those hehe. that would be cool, any money would help, so yea... when i get the money in from Jdizzle, its gonna be http://www.12voltdb.com WOOT!
Call hostrocket, and see how quickly you get a person on the phone; Like 50 seconds from dial. Awesome service, includes fantastico, more sql dbs, webmail, etc so-on.
Also, my domain was live with DNS in 15 minutes, as opposed to the two days I waited for godaddy.
cybe: We're not using GoDaddy for hosting, we're using it for just the domain name.
flakko: When you buy a domain name, you put in nameservers which your host gives you (which basically says put these 2 addresses into your domain and it will find your host) and in a few minutes you're golden.
Odd, it took my domain name from aletianic.com 2 days to work.
Anyway, basic functionality and the admin panel are finished!! YAY! Only took 14 man-hours of work, one 16" extra cheese and pepperoni pizza, 4 cans of Mountain Dew, one can of Pepsi, and about 160 songs from my playlist. That'll be $300 or a new Brahma III at your convenience //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.
