Anyone use Creatine???

yeah, I actually cut back on drinking a lot and had no plans on drinking tonight... feeling a little bloated and worried where I'm on a new supplement that doesn't appear to be working the greatest lol... But it's my cousin's birthday and I can't stand being out in clubs sober lol. I think 1 night won't be too bad on me though.
stay away from dark alcohol - vodka and cranberry's do good.

I use to take 20 grams of creatine a day, That thing got me huge within 2 weeks. The side effect was headaches and made me feel tired. I don't recommend it. After i got off of it my strength decreased as well. I suggest you take 60 grams of protein twice a day and workout 2 hrs if you want the perfect body. If you want to get big, take a weight gainer shake that has 1500 calories and then get off of it after a month. good luck

So many things wrong with this reply:eek:

First, like someone said earlier, looks like you were taking 2-4 times the recommended amount of creatine, too much of anything can have negative effects on the body.

It is impossible to get "huge" in two weeks:fyi:. Hypertrophy doesn't come easy, nor does it come fast. The first 2-4 weeks is just your nervous and skeletal systems adapting to the exercises. The "hugeness" you speak of was just extreme water retention, thats what creatine does, pumps up muscle cells with water.

Taking 120g of protein from supplements is a big mistake, getting as much of your macros from whole foods is a must, thats why people who are serious about training and getting to the next level eat like an ox, but they eat smart.

2 hr workouts, are you serious. Overtraining.

Weightgainer is going turn you into a fatass.

oh so you DIDNT have kidney problems? thats what i thought
No, I didn't because I STOPPED taking creatine. If I had CONTINUED I WOULD HAVE had problems. Make sense?

doctors are idiots when it comes to something theyre not familiar with. thats why we have specialists. go see an endocrynologist, i bet hell favor steroids far more than a general practitioner.
Why do you think I said I went to a kidney specialist? So you're saying a kidney specialist doesn't know what they're talking about in relation to kidneys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

nvr said I was a doctor; generally speaking doctor's do help people; but try explaning that to the families of people that were/are prescribed high blood pressure medicine that gave them heart attacks or to families of people who were/are prescribed depression medicine that INCREASED their risk and often times led to their *******. My point is the general public is led by mass media to believe certain things; ie steroids are bad - which is bullshit; if done properly they can yield great benefits. Just ask the 100's of thousands of cancer and AID's patients who are prescribed steroids - ask the 100's of thousands of people who are on HRT the benefits.
so, suckadick - kthxbi
Well you sure act like you know more than a doctor. I'm not saying that all doctors are perfect either. A friend of mine died a month ago, because someone at the clinic gave medication to him when he went for a dialysis (when he was not supposed to take the medication at that time) and he had a heart attack because of it and died. And the issue here I'm debating about is Creatine, not Steroids.

And sorry, i'm not gay, you can go **** a juicy one....kthxbifeg

I disagree, this has to be one of the most uneducated replies ever posted on this forum.

That's why they refer you to a specialist, like in my case, a nephrologist.

huh, never heard that one b4. whats the reasoning behind it?
it is less toxic on the liver due to its production process (filtering) and easier for the liver to break down

here is a link to the last OTC supps I took and they are by far the best I have taken - Omega's cs is top-notch (ar-r.com; elitefitness.com) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

as for a few beers or vodka and lime you should be ok just not smart to do on a regular basis, just be sure to drink plenty of water the next day

well dont say creatine gave you kidney problems if it didnt. docs will say anything. until you hear from a doc who specializes in sports/nutrition that creatine did this, it dont mean jack.

when it comes to BB supplements which they know nothing about, yes

meh, im happy with the stuff i got. and ar-r.com you say?

Did you not understand a word I was saying? I didn't have SEVERE issues with my kidney, but it was beginning to affect them. It was creating a HIGHER creatine content. And I just told you that I went to a nephrologist, a KIDNEY specialist. Obviously they know what they are talking about. Are you questioning their knowledge with your lack of knowledge?

when it comes to BB supplements which they know nothing about, yes
So why is it that many doctor's advise against it?

Never said I know everything, but I'm speaking from experience. A lot of opinions on this website are of what others say, what others can do, not direct experience, which I'm providing.
