Anyone use Creatine???

For those who work out and supplement with creatine, what creatine brands do you use?
I actually took creatine out of my workout years ago, but recently began working out serious again and wanted to pick up creatine. The kind I was using isn't being sold anymore and I can't find it online (I don't really remember the name because it was from years ago; just remember what the package looked like), so I picked up GNC's brand of Micronized Creatine Monohydrate... This has been causing me to be bloated for almost the whole day, everyday.. I am only on my 4th day. Should I get off of this or am I doing something wrong? I take 2 servings of 5g per day. 1 serving in the morning, 1 before my workout.

Think this bloated feeling will go away? And do you think the bloated feeling is caused by the creatine? or what other brands should I try? Any help would be appreciated.
by bloated do you mean water bloated or GI issues? b/c creatine is SUPPOSED to bloat you with water //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
you did good, creatine mono is tried, true, and safe creatine. my personal favs are sizeON or just regular *** creatine mono.

i would only use it if ur going to workout alot and if your failry small otherwise you should use whey protien
you should use creatine and whey at all times. theres no reason not to use either unless your cutting for a show (in which case drop the creatine temporarily) or your just broke :/

i use cell tech u can get it at gnc but you have to watch because it will dehydrate u really bad after a while so u need to take it for about 3 weeks-month and take a couple weeks off and just do your workout without it took me from benchin 265 to about 350 squat about 650,stuff is expensive but works great, and remember if u dont work out all the creatine turns into fat lol
youre an idiot

get on mass tabs they are discontinued now but you can find them on ebay. They are prob the best out with gaining solid muscle and being ready to lift all of the time. I love it and have gained 6 pounds already which is hard for me because i do a lot of cardio through sports. Also oxydrol pro i think thats the spelling is very good as well. Can only be had on the internet for like $40 and it works wonders. I can go on for days about this stuff but you really have to find what your body reacts to. Every person is different in what works for them.
real smart you jackass. go tell the kid to pop some steroids //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif i bet you didnt even know that masstabs has a steroid in it did you? thats why its discontinued. and same with superdrol, phera-plex, m-drol, havoc, epistane, LMG, the list goes on. theyre all steroids that were marketed legally by a loophole in the system. i sure hope you got some nolvadex for PCT or you cn kiss those 6lbs goodbye and say "hello" to manboobs.

well people that didn't take it were the idiots than. Honestly if I looked at how much money i spent on this shit I could have steroids for atleast 3 cycles. I can't do that though because of sports and testing which is prob good because the side effects of that shit is terrible.

Whoever said creatine is dangerous is just plain wrong, creatine is the safest most proven supplement to work ever besides whey protein.
Creatine is found naturally in beef. So for all of you that think it's unsafe, might want to stay away from beef //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Also, creatine is NOT stable in a liquid, and it breaks down into creatinine (sp?). Creatinine IS hard for your liver to break down, and CAN be harmful, granted I wouldnt worry about it. I'd guesstimate that only 15-20% of the creatine mono you intake is actually absorbed and properly utilized. Think i'm wrong, show me sources.

being on multiple supplements at once does not hurt but certain things should be avoided together like NO and Glutamine,
Why?? Show me facts.

I believe it's GI issues... And I know it's kinda embarrassing to admit this kinda thing, but I had diarrhea the last time I went to take a shit... Since posting this thread, however, the bloated feeling has gone down... and I also was telling a random girl I hooked up with how I was feeling... I never met this girl until Saturday night and we did our thing... and she told me her little sister that she looks after is really sick and has diarrhea and many other things... I may have caught something (a flu maybe?) from being around them. I don't know... I really want to try taking this creatine but I've been feeling so "belly bloated" like it's weighing me down and draining my energy too.

pure ethyl esther FTW!!!!!
yep I like creatine ethyl ester better too, it absorbs much better, you don't have to do a loading phase, and only have to take it on training days.

and to anyone that think creatine is bad for, not only is it a naturally occuring compound in our bodies but there is no evidence or studies showing any kind of negative long term effects:

"The best part about creatine-no adverse effects have been reported in any studies. NONE! Creatine is totally safe and effective. Creatine has never been shown harmfully toxic. Nevertheless, just like with anything, it is not recommended to over-supplement once your muscles are saturated with creatine-there is no reason to. This means, stick to the recommended dosages, and be prepared to experience the very best muscle, strength, energy, and endurance gains possible!"

12. Long-term consequences of creatine use?

The use of creatine in the athletic arena is a relatively recent practice, less than two decades. Consequently, the long-term consequences of creatine supplementation aren't fully understood. In other words, the phenomenon of athletic creatine supplementation is much too recent for a complete epidemiological profile to be available. Of particular concern, however, is the time required for synthesis and transporter function to fully recover after prolonged exposure to elevated creatine levels. This information is simply not known for humans (see Question #4). It is therefore that I advise that the loading phase not exceed 5 days.

Clinical situations, however, do exist where low doses of creatine have been used for several years with no signs of adverse side effects. For example, Gyrate Atrophy is a disease of the eye (retina) that is characterized by progressive narrowing of the visual fields. A secondary component of the disease is a deficiency in creatine synthesis. Consequently, this disease is also characterized by a reduction in the size of fast muscle fibers (see Question #5). Creatine supplementation has been shown to alleviate the muscular symptoms associated with this disease, although the visual symptoms persist. Other than mild weight gain, however, low doses of creatine (1.5 grams/day) when administered for the duration of several years produced no obvious adverse effects.

On the other hand, with each passing day it is becoming increasingly apparent that creatine supplementation possesses long-term benefits, especially when accompanied by B-vitamin supplementation. These "unexpected long-term benefits" have to do with an enhancement in cellular methylation rate that accompanies creatine supplementation.

I hope you realize that's a steroid you're taking. I also hope you have the necessary pct lined up for it afterward.

superpump250 did that too me. i know its not creatine, but try switching brands. some can affect you differently than others. sizeON is creatine gluconate (i believe) which is pretty unique, may want to consider that.

all supplement are good just never over use anything any thing in excessise is bad but yea i say u should be good with whey protein, creatine only on hard work outs , right diet ur diet it like70 % of what u want to be u are what u eat, and lots of multi vitamins to keep ur body strong that should be it
