Anyone try the digital fuse holders?

I have seen them online and wanted to just try one between third bat and the amp to monitor drops. Are they somewhat accurate? and are they constantly on or how does that work?

O, i didnt know that they made one. i know that knu and stinger both make them, and if i was looking for one i personally would rather spend a little more and get the ones that are a little better backed

well either way I was wondering if the technology was there. Like if they are able to be realistic along with how they work as in when the led's turn on and off

meh, pretty much useless while your driving....

what you need to get is a volt meter from ebay, I got mine for 00.99$ from a chinamen....shipped in about 8 days

I mounted it right on my dash, and I have it hooked on a up reading right of my sub amp in the trunk. now I can see when my volts drop below 13 and turn it down, best 99 cents i spent

I have it on a relay so when I turn on the ignition it turns on as well

Well i found it but how do you wire it into your electrical? And i could just utilize the hu turn on lead couldnt i?

well I have 2 amps, 4 fans, and the volt meter running of a dual relay ran from my ignition power wire. the remote turn on barley puts out any output.

either way your going to need to use a relay.

relays can be found at most electronics stores, auto shops....

no you have to use the remote to switch on the relay, its hard to explain, I can draw you a diagram tomorrow im to tired

basically you need to have it hooked up so that the + of the volt meter is hooked up with the power at your amp, or on the + battery terminal, and the negative wire from the volt meter to the relay so when you turn your car on it conducts the ground and completes the circuit. so instead of having power when the relay is switched on, you have a ground when it gets switched on
