yeah, I know, if you've only got an 8inch wide strip, like under a seat or something then yeah, you'd just use 8inch woofers but if all you have is an 8 X 12inch area, then these woofers will give you more cone area //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif lol

Odd, cant see a use for them. Like an over sized 6x9. More cone area than an 8" which is good.
