ARC audio sub surround lifting up

I guess its considered the surround but it is starting to lift up on both subs and it got very noticeable so I pulled the subs out to have a look. It almost seems whatever they used to seal it up, they didnt use enough of it. Can I seal it up myself with something till I can purchase new subs? Money is tight right now since I have a vacation coming up so I need to save as much $$$ as possible. If so what should I use?

Here are two pics to show exactly what I mean

It is basically like that at every mounting hole and in some other spots i'm pretty sure it just isnt sealed up correctly.

nah no warrenty left, kinda sucks cause I barely used these subs. I bought them used them for like a month then they sat forever because I didnt have anywhere to put them since I bought a stang conv. Now I got my truck and they sat for about a year then I decided to put them in and now i'm dealing with this.

ive got a some stuff that might work? Its what they glue down the dustcaps and stuff with I believe. Scott from Fi sent it to me. If you send paypal for the amount of the priority mail envelope id be happy to send it to you. PM me.

that could def work, but before anything I would like to see if I can figure something out so i can fix it tomorrow. The sooner the better, but if it has to wait then I will PM ya, thanks for the offer!!!!!

not a problem its got a pencil down the tip of it right now keeping it good. its a bit messy, but a paint brush will do fine to use it. Really any stronger glue that wont eat the rubber/foam whatever surround should be fine.....

i ended up using "plumbers goop" as recommended on another site since i could get it locally on a Sun and it seems to work awesome. Now with the subs mounted everything is nice and sealed and there is no more air escaping. I guess time will tell though.

the glue is pretty much fully cured and it made a world of difference. It is hitting the lows now a lot better. Only turned my system on for a really short time when running to the store. I guess the air leaks were a lot worse than I first thought but now it sounds like a whole new system. Hopefully it will last so we'll see. I just wanted a quick fix and from I have rsearched on the stuff i used, it seems several people have used it before as well. I see no problems with it yet but its still early.
