Anyone SI 12" MAG d2 v4?

How does the SI MAG 12 v4 compare to an IDQ12v3 or JLw6v2 in SPL(1,2,3) and SQ(1,2,3)?

Sealed in 1-1.3cubes 500 watts power

havnt been able to find much on the mag. besides recommendations.

its not a SPL sub at all, SQ >>>> JL/ID by a lot

I can't really say the Mag is a better driver than the W6v2 by "a lot", at least to me...the W6v2 is a very good sub, IMO. But would I take the Mag over it? Probably...

It has enough output to be realistic. If you're looking to annoy your neighbors with Young Jeezy all day long, this isn't the sub for it.

no just looking for Loud clear yet SQ oriented bass.. Listen to alot of rock, electronica(bass head comes out), live stuff. ive herd the JLw6v2 and love it just dont have the mounting depth for it. so its up to the IDQ12v3 and MAG. ive herd the mag does midbass well. which interests me i like a sub that can transition well

If it is xbl2-based technology you are after in a driver, there are a small handful of others you can look at as well.

You'll be happy with your Mag and in the market for a new amp within 3 months.

Im looking for a LOUD, CLEAR SQ bassed 12" sub that transitions well to the midbass and is under 6" mounding depth

I've got the v3, love it. SPL = W6, ID, SI SQ = SI by far, it sounds to me like the SI is what you are looking for too. the 13tw5 blended insanely well too, (my last sub) sq was superior with that thing and I would think that it has sufficient output for what you are looking for as well

The Mag is a great choice.

I've never heard one personally but when people compare them to the DIYMA R12, they say they are very similar in sound, and I can say that the DIYMA is easily the cleanest driver I've had the pleasure of listening to.

cool i just hope 2 MAGs will have enough output for me. should.. as long as they get as loud as 2 10w6v2 sealed on 1000watts with better SQ to boot ill be happy
