Anyone run zapco amps?

I am really about to pull the trigger on this amp because it keeps decent power as resistance increases (box rise). Just wondering if anyone has clamped one of these:
Great company in the link. For those following along, Based and I were just discussing the same amp. The same price is posted here on the Rubyserv store and the product comes from Zapco authorized channels. Zapco ST-1350XM II

A lot of dealers have had nothing but praise for the Studio X line. I'm sure you will find the same wherever and whomever you ask.

Yeah, I've heard great things about Zapco's stuff, plus it's MADE IN USA!! Pull the trigger and let us know how they work for you!

What is the max wire gauge it takes for power/ground?

Oh great! Another possibly great brand trashed by cheap foreign import crap! :-( Will those stinkingly rich capitalists never learn? :-(

John, you have posted on here numerous times about having money to pay for things or services that many people don't have the privilege to buy. We live on an economy-driven planet and this is a global economy. Your rhetoric implies the rich are greedy, which is a label that would only apply to a few whom the media constantly show. People are by and large good to one another. Surely you could think of ways to help a lot of people with money.

Quality of our electronics is not dictated by the country of origin. With the exception of the subwoofer listed in your signature, you are supporting foreign manufacturing and economies. Actually, since there are no magnet factories in the US that JL subwoofer is by default also supporting a foreign economy.

The terminal block will accept a maximum of 0 gauge wire. Please note the Recommended Wire Gauge table on page 4 of the manual.Zapco Studio X manual
From looking at that chart, you find the amps that the amp draws by looking at the fuse rating in the amp's description? So the 1350 amp has a 160 fuse rating so that means I'm gonna have to run 0 gauge? I'm just trying to understand if I'm reading it right.

I have the 1600w model of this and it will only except a 4awg power and ground I have the 4 ch xp it will only take an 8awg wire.. that's the only thing I don't really like about the amp but I. Bought 4-8 reducers and ran 4awg to the 4 channel and 1/0-4 reducer for the mono . But these amps are great the four channel made a muncher richer and fuller sound from my front stage compared to the alpine amp it replaced

Hmmm, interesting comparison considering I'm running two Alpine amps right now! Gonna remember that, thanks!

Truedat! And I don't have the "lot of money" I will soon as soon as my inheritance from my father's estate comes through. But even then in anticipation I bought my housemates a very nice set of USA made (Hunter Douglas) EXPENSIVE ($500+) wooden blinds for our great room to replace the cheap Chinese JUNK blinds our cheap Chinese landlord put up for us!

Yeah, I know Alpine is cheap, well not so cheap foreign made stuff. But pretty good, not the best I know now. PHD stuff is certainly not cheap and pretty good Italian made speakers! IN MY EXPERIENCE!!
