Cornhole and bean bags are the same game. What you call it is pretty much based on where you live.

I've always just called it "bags".

That's what I've always called it too. It seems like there is a TON of names for different yard games. Like I play Polish Lawn Darts (beer bottle on top of a pole and you throw a frisbee to try and knock it off) and my roommate who lived 5 hours away from here called it Irish Golf. Same thing with ladder golf. I've always called it dirty balls.

Im a ladder ball fan more so than cornhole.
