Anyone owned a 67 caprice before?

Ive had my eyes on a caprice body thats at the local junkyard for a little while, and this thing is in **** near perfect condition as far as the interior and physical shape of the body (needs paint ofcourse) I think its a 67 model but im not positive on that. Has the same body as my little brothers 68 catalina. Havent been able to look under the hood yet cuz i cant figure out how to get it open. But yea what im basically looking for is info on this, like has anyone ever owned one, worked on one, etc?

Also, i dont know too much about it, but if the car has no title, how would i go about getting one for it?

I'd look on vintage or Caprice-specific forums, best place to go for these kind of things.

I've been looking at NC title and registration laws myself, and it's not very easy. They changed the laws last September regarding antique vehicle titling...I've been avoiding things that don't have titles so I can't really tell you how to handle that.

File for a recovered/abandoned vehicle. After ra certain period if nobody claims it its yours. Or if you know the legit owner of the vehicle they can apply for a title. At least thats WV

My boss found a car on his property, fixed it up and got it running, and after the guy figured out how we had fixed it up he tried to claim it, thinking he was gonna get away with all the repairs free. Luckily for him we kept all receipts and ended up making money on the deal charging for labor and storage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Would rather have a small wheel and see more sidewall any day on something like that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
x2 but my guess would be someone with the name DrChronic will want to be rolling on 'dubs' and make it look like shit.

youre going to hate my impala.
It really all depends, I don't think 24+ looks good on anything but a full size SUV but some are done tastefully are not too bad. I have a partifular dislike for those rims in general though just not a fan of the 'fan blade' type look.

No clue what year your Impala is but if it is a 64' body style I would probably say Daytons look best on them though I would take 17"s over 15"s even though a lot of people fell they are played out and/or too old school.
