Anyone own CDT CL-S60A comps???

I just picked up a set of these for my wife's car for $108 shipped ($99 + tax)

I have a set of CDT EF-61CF in my car and I figured for $100, I couldn't go wrong. I was just wondering if anyone on here has them or if any of you guys have heard them.

I have been looking at these as well, debating between the new Alpine Type Rs and a lower end CDT. So if anyone knows anything about them please say.

100 bucks shipped for a cdt comps is an insanley good deal IMO, i am using the cl61 comps and im very pleased with the way they sound, worth every dollar IMO.

My set shipped on Friday. I live in SoCal so I will have them from woofersetc on Monday. I'll likely install them either Monday or Tuesday night.

They'll be powered by 75 watts from an Autotek amp. I'll be sure to post my thoughts once I have them in.

They are going to be replacing a set of Infinity Reference 6010cs comps. My wife said the tweeters hurt her ears, so I tried tweeking with the eq on her panasonic hu, but coudln't really get a sound I liked.

I'm sure these will blow them away. I should have just bought the CDT's in the first place.

So I got my package from wooferetc today. I open the box and there is a sticker on the box inside saying that I've been upgraded for free. So I got a set of CL-61A comps for $108 shipped (paid tax cuz I'm in CA). One thing I don't know is which tweeter I got with it.

I'll install tomorrow and give a brief review.

Congrats on the upgrade! Never heard the CK-S60A myself, but I've had two pairs of the CL-61A and they were great for the money. At $108, they're unbeatable.

I got the same package and I got the t-24 tweets which is what i belive came with yours too LBC99. I had the old version of the type-r's and the cdts were a great upgrade, like night and day. They can take more power like nothing and sound better imo at higher volumes. Very clear and smooth as well as well balanced set of comps. I went through 3 sets of r's in one year and they shrilled and distorted while the cdts take any thing i dish at them and I am now hearing things in my music that was not audiable with the type'r due to distortion. Hope you guys like your cl-61a's as much as I do. Peace

Man, wait until you guys hear a real component set....... CDT CL's = shitty and overrated by this forum.I personally don't like the sound.

The mids. sounded like someone was holding a pillow in front of them, I hate that sound. I like my mids. to have clarity and "edge" not dull and muffled.
