Because he was already on a losing ticket and most people still have a bad taste from their exposure to him. Also, he isn't nearly as exciting a possibility as the other frontrunners. It just seems too weird to pull the losing VP candidate from a recent election.

I wouldn't count him out, but he certainly doesn't lead the pack. If he proves capable of raising the money required he could be a viable option.

Truth is I jumped to a conclusion and for that I apologize. My browser is set to where it only links me to the pictures people are posting. It does not display the pictures. This makes it faster to browse the forums. I saw the name "Savage" and I thought you were talking about Michael Savage. So, my fault.
