Anyone know how to test speakers without using the car?

i found some jl vr525 components in my room from a long time ago..i want to put them in my car but dont want to take apart everything and then have them end up not working...is there a way to test the speakers and tweets to see if they work??

do you have any kind of home audio equipment?

you could pop them with a 9v battery if you like
