Anyone know about Acura's???

u will gain a lot more then a few extra watts when alt is charging at 14.4-14.5 compared to 12.6.If u need help I'll guide you through it.
Say you're drawing 300A. Which is what a good 5k would draw on music. 300A X 12.6v = 3,780w assuming 100% effeciency. Now step that up to 14.4v. 300 x 14.4 = 4,320.

That's a grand total of 540w. 500w on top of 3,800 is MAYBE 3-4 tenths. Worth it when you're making your alt work 100% load all the time?

Well it's just better to be at 14.4 I guess Idk I'm not saying I'm smarter than anyone.Ijust have experience with doing ts and it has helped knowing I'm charging like a normal alt

 
And don't need to cut anything just unhook.

Taylorfade : ur saying with everything normal the alt shuts off while system is playing therefore draining your batteries quicker is ok.

No, but I find it hard to believe that there isn't some sort of load detection that regulates system voltage like every other charging system. See a load, kick in the alt. Get back to operating range, shut it down.

I'm not intricately familiar with Acura charging systems, but them boys at Honda have their shit in a pile. I'm just saying that tricking your alt into 100% duty cycle 100% of the time isn't the best idea if you don't like replacing alts every couple months and that an extra volt or two isn't worth risking your car's electrical if voltage happened to run away.
