when i started talking about military my dad suggested coast guard... still definitely an option.

im in the navy. airforce bases are awesome and they have all new equipment. if you join a service, airforce or coast guard srsly.

so im in the navy, i was thinking about going CG after my 5 years are up. im at my 2 year mark next month. im an E4 and i am an AT (basically avionics electrician) - im not sure what kind of constituents there are when going cross service. i should have a RE1 reenlistment code when im done and i should be an E5 by then.

any info you can give me on what i would have to do to go CG after my enlistment is up i would appreciate.

Talk to your career counselor. Most likely you will lose a paygrade as well.

I know a few buddies who went Navy to Army. Whats your gripes about the navy??? Just curious.

You can get a bonus of up to like $5000 depending on college credits and also different recruiters.

seriously go Coast Guard or Air force over the most services. I have been in the navy Going on 6 years now an e-5 going for e-6 for the second time. I am a Storekeeper and have done 3 deployments was stationed In Bahrain for a year and a half and I am on shore duty now but have been told that I will do an IA tour in Iraq or Afghanistan with the next year and a half .
