I have a 92 Grand Marquis in excellant condition. The trunk is huge and i was trying to get ideas of how to aim the subs since the trunk is so deep and not your average trunk. Anyone who owns one or install somthing in this or a ford Crown Victoria knows what im talking about.

The front speakers are suppose to be 6x8 and the rears are 6x9.

I was planning to go with 6.5 components upfront but the speaker grills look small so i dont know if that will affect performance in a IB install.

I plan to use 2 12's in a sealed box.

Point the subs and the port up into the back dash, you get WAY more output that way. Also, your back dash is going to rattle like Mariachi band. I'd suggest punching a nice sized hole in it (right where the center tray is) and cover it with acoustically transparent mesh. This will also let more sound pressure into the cabin.

I don't care waht you have to do, best bet for getting loud is getting around the steel trap that the CV/GMS trunk is. People used to laugh at me because I had 15's and they had a 10 and theirs was louder inside the car.
