Anyone had any old school strokers?

i'm pretty sure that they were originally created to be SQ HT speakers......... probably just a crap install, or they did something CRAZY with the suspension bias adjustment

and as far as playing low, the entire reason i talked myself out of getting one is because the FS is like 37hz or something like that............

guess it depends on what you call low.....

there should be a club for all the people who always thought about buying a stroker

and we can buy a community stroker, and ship it back and forth until everyone gets a turn

i'd love to play with one, but i've heard both good and bad, and the cerwin vega techs don't know S1@$ about their products, and the actual engineers never EVER pick up their extension or call you back

a company i have to make an ongoing effort to get in touch with isn't one that's worth doing business with, imo

I heard a competition setup with 6 of the 12s in the back of a van. Very loud, horrible SQ....but that's to be expected from a competition sub.
