if you do intend on using scocshe go bigger than you need to get what your going for.i've used many of the kits from wally world and never had a problem. i'd never use the kit with the cap but the rest are fine. may be somewhat smaller than others; but the average person shopping for wire there isn't running 2000 watts anyways.
BZZZT. Wrong. If you recall KnuKonceptz is CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) so they make it thicker then normal because it has to be in order to handle the same amps as pure copper wire
If you understood why the product was designed you would realize its a good thing.....good to know. guess that means it's not the best then. i'd prefer pure copper over CCA personally. thats kinda like cheating LOL
+ 1Higher End Scosche wire = good
Lower End stuff at Wal-Mart = under sized
= spankin' the monkey?if its CCA stay away tinned copper is good for corrosion resistance and still going to be small like OFC but OFC has no protection like the tinned stuff and can corrode. I have welding cable that is OFC (thanks former work) But i protected the ends with liquid tape and dielectric grease hoping it helps. CCA looks bigger but the AL expands and contracts coming loose in set screw connections over time. AL is no longer allowed by code in may areas for electrical work. sorry typing while drying little dog.
