anyone getting this from "PayPal"?

I started getting e-mail yesterday from "PayPal", here is a sample...

Dear xxxxxxxxxx,
Recently we encountered an issue in which it appears that an email

address that was likely used by you on an old PayPal account has been

recycled by Hotmail.com and issued to someone else. This person is now

attempting to use the email address on PayPal. We would need your

permission to remove that email address from the PayPal account to which

it is currently attached. For security purposes, I can only say at this

time that it was an email address @hotmail.com. It would have been in

use by you in 2004 when you lived at another address.

If you think that you may know the email address in question, and may be

able to assist us, then please give us a call. You may contact PayPal's

Customer Service at 1-888-221-1161. If you are the owner of that account

and can verify it, then it may be a good idea to close it entirely if

you are no longer going to be using it. We can close it on your behalf

if you can confirm ownership of the account.

I was like, alright well, obviously some BS, but then I started getting phone call after phone call after phone call last night starting at around 8pm from a number I didnt recognize...I was busy and couldnt answer the calls, no VM's were left, I called the number back and the recording says "thank you for contacting PayPal"...so yea, weird...

Scam, PayPal never ever send emails. Watch click on the link and look at the web address, its going to be an IP address. You get them with eBay and what not, I usually sign in with

username: FUCK YOU

password: C0CK SUCKER

yea I got the scam portion of it guys, but the phone calls...that's the weird shit...I have never been contacted by anyone via email and had corresponding phone calls to match...
