anyone get a 1200d from ikesound?

ive been lookign at the orion 1200d a lot lately and was curious as to any experiences with ike sound and their customer service, shipping time, product quality, etc.

i had a friend buy a refurb amp and its been nothing but problematic since he got it. it blows transistors like crazy and the gain is below what it should be. i heard somebody saying that their directed amp from ikesound was doing the same and they had to send it back. kinda worries me.

and last but not least, does the amp have an SSF? couldnt find much detail on it and wanted to make sure its got most normal mono amp features.

I have had all kinds of problems with them. One order, it took them a week to tell me that it was gonna be on back order. Then a week later said they couldnt get the amp. So i had to order something else. I bought the viper 1200.1d refurb, i hope it does ok....More recently, i ordered a new type r. Again, it took them a week to tell me it was on back order. Then like another week and a half to 2 weeks to finally get it shipped out. Its coming in today...finally. But i guess its all worth the amount of money you save from them.

I have the 1200d from Ike's. Been working great. Has a SSF.

i got my Profile CL600 from them refurbed and its been great... and yesterday i ordered a PG Xenon 600.1 and they told me last night it was on back order and when i called to cancel the order they did it right away and im about to order an Orion 1200D instead in a few mins. So my personal experience with them has been great.

One reason why you might consider calling them up to see if what you're planning on ordering is in stock before you order it...

you know....thats really not a bad idea.....oh well, i really wasnt in a hurry because i still have to build the box for the type r. But all i can say is.... THE HYPE IS HERE. They type r hype that is. I cant wait to hear that thing installed with the viper 1200.1d.

i ordered a directed 700/6 refurbed from them a while back and it came in under a week in good condition.

no problems with the amp or ikesound.
