I just bought 2 sheets of 3/4" mdf from Menards here in town and I have never seen wood that ****** this bad. I have gone through about 5 drill bits, 2 countersinks and about 2 dozen broken screws and I still dont have anything assembled. The wood smokes when I drill into it and screws are breaking off with minimal effort. I thought it was the screws at first but 3 packs later they are still breaking off. wtf //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Thought about it, but then I would have 1.5" mdf and my measurements would be off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I work at Menards down here. Every so often we'll get a shitty lift of lumber (anything, 2x's 1x's sheet goods). Honestly, if you pitch a big enough ***** about it, you could probably get it exchanged out. The store managers like to kiss ass to keep guests.
