anyone else got an idea why it isnt gettin loud?

i sold an aq 1200 to a guy on cl, the amp is fine. he has 2 15" soundstream splx's and he has it hooked up all noobish,there is a crappy .5 farad cap on it andi told him to just get rid of that forone thing, i adjusted the gains on the amp, and btw thry are dual 2s so i told him just to wire 1 of them down to 1 ohm, its probably in 2 cubes not much port area, so i told him it would be betterwith theright box but itisntgettin very loud, im just thinking it over before fixing it up right for him. i think the subs are still stiff, he says they were new a year ago but he never had any real power on them, he had likea 1200 wattpyle on them, so we all know that means like 500 watts split between the both of them. so does anyone have any ideas?

1 dual 2 wires to 1 ohm dumbfuck

anyway, i figured it out, i was busy while writing that sorry guys. there was only 1 sub hooked up so it was compatible with the amp.
