Anybody used XP 64 bit edition?

Came out a couple weeks ago...just wondering if anybody has used it yet, and if so how did it perform in comparison to the standard XP?

I am contemplating getting it, but because there are no windows based 64 bit capable applications out I'm not sure if it will be worth it or not...hmm.

my teacher used it not to long ago. We used Sandra on it and ran a test for MIPS and it raised like 500 I believe? I'm not sure it was 7k something when we had regular XP and he put 64XP on it and it ran up at 8k something.

I'm going to have a copy here soon, I'm in the works of a new computer with a 64bit athlon 3200 (venice core) and I'll let u know how it works.

Last I heard, there are some driver issues with it. Plus there are no 64bit applications so you're not making use of it for now.

I heard about the driver issues as well, but I guess they're not hard to fix and get working properly.

The reason i was wondering if anyone has used it is because despite the fact that there aren't many applications that can utilize it, maybe it makes the entire system just handle information better, quicker? I don't know...anyone else?

sure there are just not many. There are already virus's to windows XP 64 bit edition lol.
