anybody get a PSP this morning???

i dont think zelda is going to make it over to PSP... : )

but the new zelda for gamecube looks ridiculous... and they give you

a different version of wind waker if you pre order at the beginning of

april i guess...

they changed the cell shaded graphics to a more realistic style to prepare

us for the REAL zelda game soon to release...

nintendo always gets a thumbs up from me...

anyways... i cant wait for the whole crop of PSP games to come out

over the next few weeks... but 50 bucks for a portable game is getting

out of hand... grrr...

how old are you ppl? i think if you have no life and do nothing but play games then the PSP is yours...i mean seriously this is for little kids...do you actually play games while your on the road or somewhere...

dont get me wrong the PSP is a nice product (for younger teens)...

xbox sucks i dont care if they give them away...

Theres always ebay for games to save some money. Not like you really need a warranty on a game right. I'll be picking up a PSP when the price gets down to about $150.

im 26 and have been playing games my whole life starting with atari 2600...

even if i dont play them everyday its good to be able to play

them when i want... most games these days arent as childish

as they were... lots of RPGs and even games like Devil May Cry

or Manhunt and Metal Gear have mature themes and subject

matter... and when i say mature i dont mean ******... but

philosophy, religion, extreme violence etc...

its a hobby just like car audio or computers... no reason to flame just

becuase you dont happen to enjoy video games... lots of other people

do like them...

heck... my dad still loves terminator games...

oh... and PSP is not for the younger teen market... the DS covers that...

the PSP is for older teens and up... it plays games, movies, music, has

WIFI, shows pictures, you can use the memory stick as a little hard drive...

im sorry but you are just plain wrong on this one there Ndskjdfasjfdbb whatever...

i picked up a PSP this morning, got twisted metal and ridge racer with it.

really nice little system. nice menu system and it seems well built, but the face of the unit is really fragile, it looks like its easy to scratch.

the display is jaw dropping, i couldnt believe how nice spiderman 2 looked.

i dont think i will using it much for video and music, i bought it for the games.

i'm 22 years old and i bought because 1) i like gadgets, 2) i need to pass the 8 hours a day at work, homework and internet dont seem to cut it.

i cant see myself not playing, i love games, i dont care how old i get. i dont sit and play 24/7, but if i have 30 minutes to an hour i might load up a game and play, whats wrong with that? its the same as watching a movie or sitting around listening to music.

twisted metal is great, reminds me of twisted metal 2. i loved that game, and this game is just as fun.

took me about 10 minutes to get used to the controls, but its all good now.

**** wifi here at work isnt working, need a new router, or else i would have tried out online play.

overall i am really enjoying twisted metal, great purchase imo.

imo it would have been better if the psp stuck wit dvd media, at least mini dvds. now pple who buy udp format movies will only be able to watch it on the psp. if they used mini dvds, then they could play it on most standalone dvd's as well as the psp.

however if there is an accessory that connects the psp to a tv then it would be nice.

mini dvd's is a good idea, although the UMD's are smaller than mini dvd's i believe.

just like how nintendo uses proprietary cartridges, i think this is sony's way to start the same concept. who knows, maybe the PS3 will be able to play them.

i have heard that there may be a video out coming for the PSP, converting that USB port to a tv out, dont know how that will work and how reliable the info is though.

the PSP's right now only come in a value package that costs $250. Sony might start selling the PSP unit only for under $200, but i dont know when.
