srry to post this here, but i dont want to talk to my friends about it now

also, looking for insight, not insult

so my girlfriend and i have been in a long distance relationship, we met in high school, i went to college, and now shes in a different college, so its been long distance for about 1.5 years, weve been together 2 years

now, it seems that everytime were home and get to see each other, shes mad at me, and our only time together is spent fighting, this weekend she feels i didnt want to talk to her, i saw her on sunday, she went back to school on sunday, then she called monday, we talked till my phone died, then i called on tuesday, she wasnt around, she called me back after i was asleep so i didnt get to talk to her, and neither of us called on wednesday, she came back thursday(today) and was mad at me

now, mabey its just cuz im a guy, but why does she get so mad at me if i dont call her, she can call me just as easily, the way i see it, its not worth it to wait for somebody to call and get mad at them, when u can just call them and talk, ive never not talked to her, i always drop everything, and talk for at LEAST 30mins

mabey theres more to it that shes not telling me, she doesnt have a car at school, so i go up as often as possible to visit her, it spensive with gas and eating out and all, but i get up there 1-2 times a month

mabey its just time to throw in the towel, mabey long distance relationships just dont work

maybe she wants it in the butt. Other than that, I'd try talking it out with her and see what she says, communication is the key to all relationships. Tell her truthfully how you feel or what you want, and hopefully she will answer truthfully and tell you why she's mad or if she is mad at all.

i agree with you, but i dont know how to give her more attention than i already do give her without dedicating my every second to her

i call her sometimes while shes at class to leave a message on her phone, i call her some nights to talk, other nights ill IM her all night, every once in a while ill send email cards to her, and i try to visit her as often as my bank account allows

im not saying she does nothing, she plans out some of our weekends, and calls me sometimes, and wrote me a letter once

but what ur saying makes sense, i think she does depend on me a lot, i wont go into details why, but she does have some family problems
