Anybody ever noticed the MASSIVE size differende of the magnet between cvr 12 and 15

I didn't ask for a list of subs that have the same motor, I asked for subs with a 10% difference.
Im tired of trying to find the lame magnet weight specs on those crappy Bahns, I guess I'll have to take your word for it. But the others you listed run the same size motors for the most part (exception being JL Audio, but they do not change entire motors for a 10% difference either).
Ok I get what you are saying. My fault man. basically most companies don't change it at all or they do a good amount. I know the type r's I think go up like 30 percent or something. but I bet the mag weight almost triples between the 12 and 15 on the cvr

The cvr 15 is noticeably much more beefier than the cvr 12. I've dealt with both and still own a pair of cvr 15s. They're good bang for the buck subs. I've put as much as 1600watts into each for burps & 1250watts each for 30sec BassRace runs and they're still kicking strong do 146s daily in a trunk car powered by a single Sundown saz-1500d. They do get stinky during those 30sec runs but handle the burps no sweat. The cvr 15 and the L5 15 magnets look identical.
What kind of amp did you use on them for the 30 second bass race run and what ohm? you said 1250 rms each didn't know if that was rated or clamped.not talking bad.. Just trying to get an idea what they will take

For one, motor size has not anything to do with the subs strength. It is the coil and the reliability of the moving parts to sustain the strength. 2 thanks for stating the obvious between different series and sizes of subs. 3 learn the english language, you said double the size 3 times in one sentence. So are you saying it is 4 times the size?
Not everyones native language is english, so quit being so critical. If I could speak another language half as well as he's speaking english I would be happy.

And 3 doubles would be 8x the size.

Its hard to have a difference of 10% when most magnet slugs come in standard sizes that dont vary by that small of an amount. Most companies still use the same motor for every size in that line. JL is a notable exception, as they are almost exclusively proprietary.
Cheers.

Name one single sub that has a 10% larger motor for the 15.
The type-r 15" motor is considerably larger than the 12".

Shipping weight on the 12"=21 pounds

Shipping weight on the 15"=44 pounds

So I don't think any company has a difference of only 10%. It's either no difference or a very large difference.

12 has a 109 oz mag on it and 15 has a 155oz so about 40 percent approx diff my fault. so 2.875 lbs different on the mag size. Sure heavier motor structure all together though. And audiobahn did have a different. I am 100 percent. The 10 and 12 had 120oz and the 15 was 130oz . Also I do believe the immortal was 180oz for the 12 and 200oz for the 15
