Anybody ever noticed the MASSIVE size differende of the magnet between cvr 12 and 15

Gotcha!
Like konakis 9500 rip offs, good motor, crappy softparts-- well shitty glue on the spiders anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
I have seen worse I dont remember the names, a buddy of mine had a huge collection of blown subs and he sees how much they can handle.

As the topic says. I was looking because the comp and vr 12 have sim. sized magnets and then between the comp and vr 15's major difference . So then I put a CVR 12 and 15 next to each other and I bet the 15 has almost double the depth of magnet and I bet 40 percent wider which equals about double surface area and double almost double height. I know with most speakers I have dealt with in the past between the 12 and 15 although the 15 obviously has a good amount more cone area would have same size to 10 percent larger magnet.. . Just curious if anybody else has seen this. I would bet it has close to 150oz mag on the 15. Looks bigger than L5 mag and almost as big as L7. According to kickers website has more motor force than L5 and almost same as L7. Such an inexpensive woofer.. maybe it has potential . Also I noticed it looks like the 12 has a 2 inch coil and the 15 has a 3 inch

This must be a big fuc{ing subwoofer!

Wait a minute. NO where in that topic did I say double then 3 times.. obviously you have trouble reading the english language as you stated I have trouble writing it. And actually the motor size plays an important role in the motor strength as well as other factors such as .... material of the magnet. Coil material and width and thickness. I am aware of these things... I would assume so more than yourself so go hump a goat lol. Also the suspension seems fairly strong for being a softer suspension

your a dumbass as proved in my statement above

Name one single sub that has a 10% larger motor for the 15.

Using as approx

Audiobahn aw1500 and 1200. 120oz on the 12 and 130 on the 15 so 8.333 percent

Not sure the exact difference on the reg comps but don't look much bigger

Fi 's same

RE's

Shockers

I think the JL audios use to use same size mag between 12 and 15 for w6 and w3 been a minute

Memphis power reference I do believe uses the same

beyond audio

blue print driver

DD

I believe strokers back in the day used same size between 12 and 15

comp X's were close between 12 and 15

and prob 5 more I can think of. And there again should have specified but 10 percent was a guess. Should have said not much larger or same size.

That or the cvr 12 isn't that impressive of a magnet lol

I would guess the cvr 12 is around 50 to 60 ounce mag but i could be way off. Just the way it looks.

The cvr 15 is noticeably much more beefier than the cvr 12. I've dealt with both and still own a pair of cvr 15s. They're good bang for the buck subs. I've put as much as 1600watts into each for burps & 1250watts each for 30sec BassRace runs and they're still kicking strong do 146s daily in a trunk car powered by a single Sundown saz-1500d. They do get stinky during those 30sec runs but handle the burps no sweat. The cvr 15 and the L5 15 magnets look identical.

I didn't ask for a list of subs that have the same motor, I asked for subs with a 10% difference.
Im tired of trying to find the lame magnet weight specs on those crappy Bahns, I guess I'll have to take your word for it. But the others you listed run the same size motors for the most part (exception being JL Audio, but they do not change entire motors for a 10% difference either).
