FiQ 18" with an AQ2200

FiQ 18" D1 + AQ2200 at 2 ohm...and heres a sketch of the box I would like to build. (someone did it for me) The box is tuned to 32hz. The 3 round ports are 6inch by 16.75L. I would like to have the box with round ports since it looks baddasss.

Slot port design would be something like:

36 (L) x 28 (W) x 18 (H)

slot port:

5.5 (W) x 16.5 (H) x 42.75 (L)

Ends up being:

6.1ft^3 @ 28.05Hz

Im a noob when it comes to tuning cuz I got no clue how that works...

here is some advice....dont put a Q on 2200+ watts.

28hz is toooo loooow. go with 32 hz and do a slot port, aeroports (circle ports) are used on higher tunings for spl, like 50 hz, cuz to go down to a sql or sq tuning of 28-33ish hz requires loads of length to the circle ports, like 33 inches each port for 3 6 inch aeroports in 6 cubes at 32 hz. so they would have to come out of the box like pipelines, would look retarded and be a waste of money.

I could go with the D2 FiQ 18" 1ohm-but some guys said go 2 ohm just incase you choose to upgrade..........

im gonna buy it this weekend...

Cant it be tuned right to where I can still have the aero/round ports? that was just a random sketch

make the ports longer then they are if you are putting 2200 watts in them

it can but would look ghetto cuz each port would have to be coming out of the box to get to 33 inches long each. cuz they wouldn't fit in the box.

Hes not feeding it 2200wrms, hes getting the Dual 1 version, thus feeding it 1300wrms

Why not go with the refurb Sundown1500 for $375 and go with the AQ2200 for $389?
