?
I just bought 2 of these off of flebay for $40 called Livewire 12"s or something. A search on the internet only brings up a page called California Boom. I have never heard of these but the specs are nice. I figured $40 what the hell, might as well try them.

That info alone isn't enough to give any real idea of box size, unfortunately. What you could do is build a largish sealed box, something like 1.5-2 cubic feet per sub, try it out and see how it sounds. Then progressively add more solid objects inside the box (blocks of wood, bricks, etc.) of known volume to reduce internal volume of the box, trying it out with each progressively smaller space. You'll notice a difference each time (perhaps very subtle), and eventually you'll reach a point where it seems overdamped, slightly peaky response, etc.

Only think I can think of. I'd prolly start with 1.5 per driver.

Those are the pics off of ebay. I should recieve the subs on Wednesday. When I get them I will take more pics. I talked to the seller and he said these were from some company in China that was starting their own subwoofer line, but never made it, and these were seized property from us customs. I have no idea what they are, but it looks like I have the only ones!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

look sold. bumped back plate, 4 layer coil, ect.

stock parts off the shelf, but they can prolly be reconed if you blow them by any interweb company (if they have a 3" coil) wich they do.

75 millimeters = 2.95275591 inch

Got these things in today. Man are they beasts. 20 lb. motor. They are heavy as hell. It's got one heck of a suspension on it. Take both hands to push the cone in just a little. I hope my 800 watts is enough for both of these. Anyways here are some more pics. Plan on building a box this weekend to test these baby's out. Definatly not bad for the $20 a piece I paid for them!
