Anybody else waiting on an amp from Orion?

Any new word on whats going to happen? Shane people that dont get the chance to due a charge back are you still going to try and get them a amp that they paid for?

anyone tried to do they charge back? i am kinda scared for paypal to try to recover the funds ( that is already in progress, so i am headed to my bank in the mourning.

i did the chargeback but paypal said that i was over 45 days, so they are not going to pursue the claim... thats phucked up man.... i tried everything to explain to paypal but no luck... and no shane is not even answering me emails or pms... wat email did everybody or whoever went through paypal send the payment too??? this is getting ridilcous!!!!!!

I had insurance with paypal, so i got paid and I guess they will sue Shane. I wish I would have just gotten my amp like what I paid for. Now I got a 25 to life Punch amp that will be here friday.

So you're the one that cleaned out his account. No they are not going to sue him. You just got what ever was left. I won my dispute too but they aren't able to recover any funds at the moment. I believe he'll get us our money back. Just hope it's sooner then later since I have my replacement sitting on my credit card. I haven't had as much contact as I would like but I have been able to get some updates. Last I heard we was working on getting our money or amps. Trust me when I say I understand everyone's frustration but ripping the guy a new a$$hole isn't going to speed things up. Looks like we'll just have to be patient.

Not sure if my cash came out of his locked account or not. I had Paypal insurance on my even if his account was in the neg, I would have gotten my money back. I talked directily with paypal the other day and said that they would recoup all funds due to suspected fraud of the paypal account. After much research it seems as though Shane has been a stand up guy. I hope he gets this turned around ASAP and doesn't kill his sales because of it.

I've survived the summer do to my internet bussiness and paypal. I thought I knew their system inside and out. How did you get the insurance you mentioned? They just told me there was nothing they could do until funds were added.

As far as Shane being a stand up guy my past dealing with him would make me agree. That's the only reason I am calm ATM. Things went so smooth last time... I believe him when he told me Orion has had a problem getting him his amps. Others have verified it by doing their own research. I guess it's a good thing that Orion didn't just rush out defective products even if it doesn't feel like it right now. He got himself stuck in a messed up situation that he doesn't have any real control over till he gets his funds back or the amps he ordered. I understand why people are angry I've been there with him too. As a bussiness owner I just have to take a step back and think about my past dealings with distubuters. They don't do it on purpose but they seem to give optimistic dates for product availability.

Was the HCCA D1200 ever on back order? Shane gave me the skinning about what has happen and In my case it had more to do with his "Supplier" then it did with DEI or Orion directily. Now in some of the other cases on here it was I'm sure something different.

I got it. Ebay will cover you up to a certain $ amount maybe paypal picked up the diff or he had enough to cover yours in his account.

I was waiting for a HCCA-D5000 so I guess it was different senario based on the order.

The insurance covers up to 1,000 dollars on the auction I had won. When I talked with paypal they said no matter how much Shane was in the Red in his account I would get my money back.

looks like Orion may have started shipping D5000's.....i saw a FS ad by someone saying they just got one back from warranty

it was me, but i am also sponsored by orion and this amp was from the very 1st batch that was sent out.

im still waiting on 4 more!!
