Anybody else having major money problems?

Since this section became a blog, I'd figure I would share me story.

Some of you might know, Im a 4th Generation farmer. I currently work for my dad, doing the day to day stuff that goes along with farming. Well, last year really hurt us, dry weather and such. So this year has been really tight for us. As of right now, no money to buy fuel to finishing planting. So this is got my stressing a pretty good bit.

On top of that, I went into the hospital in mid February, and being self employed I don't have any insurance. Now there saying If I don't pay all the money by first of May, it'll show up on my credit report. Which totally sucks. Cause when I do maybe want to start farming on my own, my credit will be shot.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

Long story short, times are getting tough.

Im just wondering how long I can make it.

farming is fun, but is so tough economically. I help out a freind for a side job on his cow farm. 70 + angus cows, alot of fun but money hurts.

Things are getting tight for a lot of people.

I'm doing fine so I'm can't complain. But, farming is a hard business. Good luck man.

its 10 years now and you have to be in so much debt that you cannot possibly repay the debts

i have a small trucking company, im feeling the pain but i just reduce my overhead and work a little harder, historically this is nothing new but its gonna get worse before it gets better.

Ya, these times will go on for a while i believe. I don't think things will turn around until at least 2010 if we are lucky. The new president would have had one year done. who knows, this could go on for a lot longer then expected. the middle class will pretty much disappear from most of the country. You especially will have a hard time due to the increasing extremes of weather around the world already with food shortages and being a farmer. Gas is one of the solutions we will have so solve if we want to continue living on this earth, and it has to be pretty soon.

We're not in bad debt so to say.

Just no cash.

No way of getting cash without selling/mortgaging something.
