Anybody build their own home spkrs??

I apolagize if this is a repost but I'm in the middle of talking to one of partsexpress' tech's about building my own tower speakers. Unfortunately, they don't have any tech/graphs for designing one so I'm SOL there. I wanted to do 2 10's or 2 12's per tower. Is there anyone else than can suggest or help me out???

i dont know much but i dont think you need tens or twelves in a tower.........Look over the projects at partsexpress and pick one you like......a couple 7's or 8's or 6.5's and then a tweeter would be better than two twelves or tens...I would just pick a project and try to figure out how to make the crossover, its going to be alot easier than designing a crossover.......

That's preference. If you want 10s or 12s in a setup, then it is your God given right to build towers with 10s or 12s. In the same way, you don't need 10s or 12s in your car...

i've built a folded horn for 2 18inch fane collossal subs....that box was huuuge...but it got loud and loooow as hell ..
