Any way to add remote turn on to car that doesn't have one?

The other option is like someone said eariler is go to the fuse pannel and take a test light and find any circuit (preferable one with a decent size fuse...15-20A should be fine) that has an ACC. turn on.

e classes with HK systems should have external amps somewhere in the car. I have an e46 325 with HK system (crap) and when i wired mine up to the stock deck, i used the 12 signal to the factory amp. It may also be referred to as the power antenna wire. Im sure any e-class forum should have some sort of diy on the forum.

BMW is different, I have an E39 and it isn't half as hard, all of the wiring are available all over the net.

The E class amp is located in the rear of the trunk. But there are probably 50+ wires back there, and like I said the car is rigged with fiberoptic cables. I've tested some of the more obvious cables already and I'm getting weird readings, most were constant 12v or 5v and none of them responded with ignition on off.

Its so simple....just tap into something that only turns on with the car on or acc....the cig lighter should work...theres one popping out of the ignition, another might be on the dash clock if you have one...

I've already told you from previous post to try the cig lighter....or anything that gets power with the ignition on.....its a simple thing.....not very complicated

Yah, that what I said. I'd go through the cig lighter as a last resort because I don't want to rip out the center consoles and carpets.

or if you can't find anything, you can use a switch and just manually turn it on and off
