I need to foam it and the rear walls, any tips before I do something that I'll regret?
I've heard about that, but didn't know it was from putting too much of it on at once. That's good to know then. That really helped me.I've heard that if you foam it all at once the outer edges will cure faster leaving the foam towards the middle still wet. When the foam in the middle starts to cure it has no where to expand and can warp/deform body panels.cover up any carpet or anything you don't want it on because it is pretty sticky and can make a mess when it gets on things you don't want it on
Closed Cell Foam. You spray glue it to panels and it compresses to the areas it needs to fill the gap so things dont vibrate. What is CCF? lol. New to the deadning seen.
I believe I got mine for $9 a sheet. 3 sheets of the stuff I got was 27sq ft.Spray glue it? And how much is this CCF?
So how exactly does it work? I'm not following 100%. It expands, but you buy it in sheets?I believe I got mine for $9 a sheet. 3 sheets of the stuff I got was 27sq ft.
Its foam that compresses to fill. The foam your talking about can screw you up big time. What happens if you have wiring issues and have to get a wire through where you foamed? What happens when that **** gets old and crusty? The CCF also wont make your panels bulge either. So how exactly does it work? I'm not following 100%. It expands, but you buy it in sheets?

How is it better than gap filler foam?
Ok. Where I was going to foam there wasn't **** in. I mean no wires or mechanical devices. It was just emptiness. Anyways, can you provide me a link? Its foam that compresses to fill.
