Any tips on door pods?

Ill probably end up drilling some 2-3 inch holes in the back through the pod and door panel to vent them into the doors as the pods have very little internal volume as they sit.

Yeah about making two rings per door, but this was easier to mount. Also the reason for spacing was that the mounting supports are 2x2 so its nice and sturdy.

I finished them up structurally on Jan. 7th. Ill get some pictures up tomorrow in the daylight. I just need to bondo and paint/cover them. It will probably be a while though since Im back in school 3 hours away from my tools.

Yes, I am aware there are some bubbles and that it needs sanding and finish work, but they are structurally sound and that is all I need right now.

I had T Nuts, but I just used 3/4" screws from the pod into the door for most of it. On the side near the back of the car, I used 1/2" screws from the door into the pod. I had to use shorter ones there so it wouldn't protrude from the pod.

Yeah, I went through the speaker holes where I could and from the doorpanel into the pod where I couldn't fasten it from the front. Also there are 3" holes in the doorpanel and pods directly behind the speakers for venting.

Im thinking about painting it either black or a metallic silver/grey. I might end up doing vinyl/leather to match the door. I haven't decided on anything that far yet...
