which would you choose, the cdts or the dls? do the mids on the slim components have a great disadvantage on sq compared to non slim mids?

- Sometimes... depends on the particular design... might limit Xmax.

Check out the Cerwin Vega V-Max 65 . They are only 2.25" depth and no compromises... best set under $500.

The CDT's all the way, i have heard those comps and they sound fantastic. i was realy surprised speakers with that small of a maget can get so loud and sound so clear and detailed.
