Any subs comparable to a 13w7? Want a new setup.

I had always heard 12 is the best "all-around" size, no? Because 15's can't punch "tight" enough and 18's are just too low. Hm.... This thread has just increased my indecisiveness lol
You need to donkey punch whoever told you that. I have owned an 18 that was punchier and quicker than most 10s.

agreed! i've heard 8's get low and i've heard 18's that had better response than most 10s, you need to READ, im guessing your buddy with the 13W7 told you that

Ok well I know I'm going with the AQ1200 amp, but as for sub size.... I probably won't be able to fit an 18 in my little trunk lol. So I guess it's now between a the 12 and the 15. Pros and cons of each?

Yea that's the thing is trunk space...

For the record, here is the space I'm working with...

Also very heavy... lol. I mod my car for performance mainly. I think that much weight would be very detrimental. That's why I'm leaning toward the 12.

you need to be donky punched.

so you're saying your 18 played 50 cycles faster than most 10s? So, did it really play 52 cycles?

No, it had a sharper response for things like kick drums.

Ever listened to an MJ18? Beautiful subs.

the 15 doesnt weigh but like 2 pounds more than the 12. but the box would be a bit heavier

lol ouch. I just don't know if the extra spl is worth an extra 2 cubes of space.
I know what you mean. My last setup was 2 15's sealed in a 4 cu ft enclosure and was taking up most of my trunk. I wanted that back so I went with 1 12" ported this time around. I am not disappointed.

I think you will be happy with either.
