For the close ups thats how i wanted the lighting, very high key...
The gym shots were light with a flash light, gotta love light painting. the first time i ever did it too haha

I think the lighting in the closeups needs to be a bit harder to give the chins some more definition. Not a problem on a couple, but definitely something to think about (especially the first one).

I like the idea with the gym shots. You just need to play with the shadows more.

how do you do the see through hood type stuff? is that photo shop?

1. Using a tripod, set up the angle you'd like to capture.

2. Take [Photograph #1] with hood open.

3. Take [Photograph #2] with hood closed.

4. Use photoshop to layer [Photograph #2] on top of [Photograph #1].

5. Make the section you'd like transparent with various PS techniques.
